7 Irving - Perinatal – 737
Syracuse, NY
Clinical – Full-Time (36 hrs/wk), (3) 12‑hour shifts, evenings/nights, 7:00 pm–7:30 am, M‑F rotating weekends & holidays
7 Irving‑Perinatal is a 54‑bed unit within Kienzle Family Maternity Center. Perinatal nurses provide patient- and family-centered ante‑partum, post‑partum, and newborn care, working closely with other disciplines including lactation consultants, birth registrars, and care coordination.
As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with the standards and practices of Crouse Hospital.
Education / Experience- Graduate of an accredited associate degree
- Must complete NCLEX within 120 days
- Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program or higher degree - Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree required within 8 years of hiring or credentialed after 2017
- Required:
Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse - Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required:
Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) at end of orientation - Preferred:
Certification in a specialty area
- PALS required within one year
- ACLS required within one year
