Registered Nurse RN Endoscopy Unit

eph’s Health, the Surgical Services Department records over 11,000 surgeries annually in our state‑of‑the‑art operating rooms. The Registered Nurse Surgical Admit & Recovery provides high‑quality nursing care to patients before and after surgical procedures, ensuring safe transitions between pre‑operative and post‑anesthesia care phases.

• Assess and prepare patients for surgery, including reviewing medical history and administering pre‑operative medications. Monitor patients in the Pre‑Op area, ensuring they are stable and ready for surgery.
• Provide immediate post‑anesthesia care, monitoring vital signs and assessing for complications.
• Educate patients and families on post‑operative care, discharge instructions, and recovery expectations.
• Apply strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills in a fast‑paced environment and respond quickly to changing patient conditions.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited college or university nursing program. BSN graduate preferred.
• Licensure:
  Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in New York.
• Certification: BLS/CPR. CNOR or CPAN certification a plus.
• Experience:
  
  1–2 years in Pre‑Op, PACU, or Surgical/Perioperative Nursing.

Full time – 40 Hour Day/Evening Rotating Shift

Pay Range: $38.75 - $54.85 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
