Neurosurgery is currently seeking a part time or full time NP/PA
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant provides advance practice nursing care to patients, families and the community through assessment, planning, prescribing and evaluation interventions. A Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is a member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team who demonstrates professionalism and leadership within the institution. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant exemplifies the Upstate mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Upstate policies and procedures.
No call responsibilities.
Minimum qualifications:
NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required. Must have NPI number and be Medicare Enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) or be eligible for Medicare enrollment (eligibility criteria for NP requires National Certification through AANP or ANCC, and master’s degree) (eligibility criteria for PA requires graduation from an accredited PA program and National Certification through NCCPA). Initial certification must be present rent BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.
Prior experience in neuroscience, neurosurgery or neurology preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Generous bonus and benefits package available.

L5-L6: $99,000 - $165,000 Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. The salary range depicted is based on full time, 1.0 FTE and would be prorated accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE.
