Nursing Assistant Position

Crouse Health offers a full range of general and specialty care, inpatient and outpatient services and community health education and outreach programs. Crouse's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) consists of 29 beds, 9 of which are dedicated to Neuroscience beds. The ICU provides emergency treatment and stabilization for patients who could be experiencing any number of medical conditions or incidents. The ICU team is hiring a Nursing Assistant to work Full‑Time.

New Pay Rates: $19.75–$26.13/hour (based on experience).

• Assists the patient with daily care activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, ambulating, personal hygiene, and taking of vital signs.
• Supports and actively contributes to the achievement of the patients’ goals associated with the plan of care.
• Individualizes communication based on the needs of the patients and families.

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have one (1) year of patient care experience or currently attend an accredited registered nursing program and have successfully completed the fundamentals of nursing coursework.
• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire date.
