Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Syracuse, NY

Desired Qualifications and

Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an Emergency Room (ER) nursing role
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Demonstrated expertise in triage, patient assessment, and emergency protocols
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability in urgent care scenarios
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care to individuals experiencing acute illness or injury
• Rapidly assess, prioritize, and implement appropriate nursing interventions in collaboration with the ER team
• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs, recognizing and responding to emergent changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and utilize advanced medical equipment as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families regarding condition management and discharge instructions
• Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to facilitate optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times
