Registered Nurse​/PICU

Job Title: RN – Pediatric ICU (PICU)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 05/11/2026
Shift: Nights, 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

We are seeking an experienced PICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality critical care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a Level 1/2 trauma environment.

• Minimum 3 years of recent PICU experience (within last 2 years)
• Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Centers
• Active New York RN License (required at submission)
• BLS Certification (PALS required for certain units)
• EPIC experience preferred
• Strong IV therapy and telemetry interpretation skills

• Deliver safe and effective patient care in a pediatric ICU setting
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor critical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care planning
• Administer medications and manage life-support equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols

• Every other weekend and some holidays required
• Floating may be required based on unit needs
