Job SummaryWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Educator Assistant Director of Education to join our dynamic team at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Syracuse, New York. As a Registered Nurse Clinical Educator Assistant Director of Education, you will design, implement, and sustain educational programs that inspire clinical excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and support professional growth at every level of nursing practice.

- Perform general orientation of all new employees
- Conduct clinical competency training and evaluation of nursing staff
- Coordinate guest educators for programs, such as IVs and Respiratory
- Implement education programs for Certified Nursing Assistants per the education calendar
- Provide in-service education of all employees as needed
- Active RN license in good standing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in long-term care or subacute rehab
- Proven teaching, leadership, or preceptorship experience
- Strong communication, presentation, and coaching skills
- Passion for continuous improvement and staff empowerment
As a Registered Nurse Clinical Educator Assistant Director of Education, you will work side-by-side with nursing leadership to shape a culture of learning, quality, and compassionate care. You will develop and deliver engaging training programs for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs across all shifts, lead competency validation, clinical skills assessments, and orientation for new staff, and drive performance improvement initiatives in infection prevention, wound care, falls, medication safety, and more.
