Registered Nurse – Psychiatric

$2105.28/week -

Job Summary:

Provides acute emergency psychiatric care for adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced setting. Delivers compassionate, immediate mental health interventions while adhering to safety protocols and documentation standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition upon arrival and determine appropriate level of care.
• Administer crisis intervention and stabilization for psychiatric emergencies.
• Document patient interactions, assessments, and treatments accurately in the EHR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain a safe environment by following hospital policies and safety guidelines.
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage and provide support during weekends as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current BLS and CPI certifications.
• Proven experience in emergency or acute psychiatric settings.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with EPIC EHR preferred.
