Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Syracuse, NY | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | Onsite

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients in a high-risk regional perinatal center averaging 10+ births per day
• Manage patient care through labor and delivery and up to 2 hours of recovery prior to transfer to the postpartum unit
• Support care across a unit that includes 21 labor beds, 2 triage beds, 2 same-day admit beds, 3 OR suites, and a 4-bed PACU
• Maintain a target nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 depending on assignment
• Assist with OR circulating responsibilities as needed

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible for a local rate; please inquire for details

• 3 or more years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
• OR circulating experience strongly preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records

• Work within a high-acuity, high-volume regional perinatal center offering a dynamic and rewarding clinical environment
• Scrubs are provided on-unit through an on-site scrub machine
