Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Syracuse, NY | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | Onsite

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a high-risk regional perinatal center averaging 10+ births per day
• Manage labor and delivery patients through active labor and up to 2 hours of post-delivery recovery before transition to the postpartum unit
• Work across a 21-bed labor unit with additional triage, same-day admit, OR, and PACU beds as assigned
• Maintain a target nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 depending on assignment
• Assist with OR circulating duties as needed

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be eligible for a local rate — please inquire for details

• 3+ years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
• OR circulating experience strongly preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records required

• Work within a high-volume, high-acuity regional perinatal center offering a dynamic and rewarding clinical environment
• Scrubs are provided on-unit through an on-site scrub machine
