Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented RN Nurse Investigator
- Accidents and Incidents to join our team at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Syracuse, New York. As an RN Nurse Investigator, you will conduct thorough investigations into resident incidents, complaints, and regulatory concerns to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines. If you are a proactive and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and analytical skills, we encourage you to apply for this full-time, exempt position.
- Conduct comprehensive investigations into resident incidents, complaints, and regulatory concerns
- Gather and analyze data, interview staff, residents, and families, and prepare clear, timely reports with recommendations for corrective action
- Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines, including CMS guidelines and DOH reporting and investigation standards
- Collaborate with other disciplines to meet the needs of residents
- Manage conflict, advise, and coach staff and residents
- Utilize excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to resolve issues
- Registered Nurse (RN) active license required
- CPR certification required
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation, long-term care, or related healthcare setting recommended
- Knowledge of theory, practice, and principles of investigations recommended
- Knowledge of CMS guidelines and DOH reporting and investigation standards recommended

$72,000 - $93,000 ANNUALLY
