Overview
Job Summary:
Provides professional nursing care to patients/families and the community. Accomplishes this by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care and supervising the work of the licensed practical nurses, ancillary staff and students assigned to the unit. Specifically the registered nurse performs as a bedside nurse.
Minimum Qualifications: NYS licensed/registered RN. Prior experience in acute care strongly preferred. Current CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.
