Anoplate is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to collaborate with operations, support functions and the customer to assure the customers' needs are identified, being met and that they receive the highest quality finishing product. The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance Inspector is to perform in process and final inspection of product. Assure quality parts leave the facility.

• Perform review of travelers against PO to make sure that customer requirements are met.
• Proficiently uses company equipment-X-ray, permascope, gages, and other applicable thickness testing equipment.
• Verify and/or perform lot testing, final inspection and certify product. (Including workmanship, thickness, adhesion and any others as required by IC, SP, PS, traveler, or customer PO).
• Refers to traveler instructions and carries out directions as written.
• Accurately interprets blueprint or sketch information as required.
• Accurately records final inspection testing results on inspection record.
• Review completed operations, ensure that the verification lines have been completed, customer has been contacted where required when rework has been performed, and PIF’s submitted if needed.
• Works with production to initiate customer contact via the Quality Engineers.

Education/Experience

High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of quality experience required.

Skills:

Positive & Professional manner, written and verbal.

High attention to detail:
Blueprint Reading Skill Able to retrieve, review, and interpret ISO documents and specifications as required.

Computer

Skills:

Keyboard, Anoplate databases, etc.

Test Equipment

Experience:

Select and use test equipment for best results.

Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
