Lab Technician
We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our growing team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for new graduates to gain valuable skills and professional experience in a dynamic lab environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct product and microbiology testing.
- Perform computer data entry and maintenance.
- Set up the testing table and maintain sample retention for daily samples.
- Test raw ingredients.
- Resample totes, including nonconforming products and experimental totes.
- Adhere to all GMP, HACCP, good housekeeping, and safety rules and regulations.
- Complete all individual training as outlined by the training matrix or management training schedule.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor or Lab Lead.
- Proficiency in biology and quality control.
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or Microbiology, although an Associate's degree will be considered.
- Experience in a lab setting.
- Experience with bacteria culture, laboratory practices, food testing, and plating.
- Knowledge of chemistry, quality assurance, microbiology, wet chemistry, titration, diagnosis, inspection, data entry, and pipetting.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or Microbiology.
- Lab experience.
- Experience with bacteria culture.
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
