Job Overview
Final Inspector accountable for preparing items for the shipping process and aid in process inspection of product after completion of processes. Requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to read and comprehend technical requirements of the traveler and blueprint. Must train on 1st shift hours.

Hours:
3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- Measure, cut, and seal bags in preparation for shipping completed boards.
- Read, comprehend, and interpret travelers and drawings to assess requirements and special instructions.
- Have basic comprehension of IPC and military requirements and locate customer specific specifications.
- Inspect product under magnifying tool for opens, shorts, contamination, solder mask/legend issues, etc.
- Compare size and location of holes to verify conformance to specifications when assisting for first article measurements.
- Perform rework operations (solder mask touch-up, remove burrs/rough spots, rework damaged areas, cover exposed copper areas with solder mask, clean and/or polish surface mount pads) that can be done inside the final inspection department.
- Stamp a mark of approval or rejection, or initials, on product or traveler.
- Log job in and out of ERP system with accurate counts of product.
- Record data and complete scrap report forms.
- Stack finished boards with separator sheets for transfer to next workstation.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical requirements of the traveler and blueprint.
- Ability to visually verify fine detail work.
- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and have strong attention to detail.
- Ability to switch between different circuit board programs.
- Must handle interruptions to workflow as necessary to accommodate engineering requests.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to look at screen/scope for long periods of time.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Required Experience: Strong communication skills and demonstrated experience in a role requiring technical aptitude.
Preferred Experience: 3+ years of manufacturing experience; experience within the aerospace industry or AS9100 and OFAC helpful; printed circuit board and quality experience a plus.
Compensation and BenefitsCompensation ranges for this role are estimated at $38,383 - $60,669 annually. Additional compensation may include an annual or quarterly company bonus and shift premium for alternative shift positions. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible spending and health savings accounts, accident benefits, life insurance, disability benefits, paid vacation & holidays. Benefits become available on the 1st of the month following hire date.
