** Job Summary
** The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the products or services of the company meet the established quality standards.
** Job Description
*** Conduct inspections on products or services to ensure they meet quality standards
* Identify quality issues and recommend improvements to the production team
* Create quality control reports and maintain accurate records of product or service inspections
* Program, set up, and operate CMM machines to perform precise dimensional inspections of components.
* Train production personnel on quality procedures and standards
* Collaborate with other departments to improve overall quality and efficiency
* Participate in audits of the quality management system
* Works to achieve operational targets within job area, with significant impact on achievement of results for the team
* Work consists of tasks that are typically not routine
* Works independently under limited supervision
* Frequently required to apply discretion within broad operational boundaries and procedures
* Communicates with contacts typically within the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information on matters of significant importance to the team
* Explains practices, procedures, and policies in order to reach agreement
* Responsible for making moderate changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of team
* Expected to independently propose solutions to problems for manager review Daily challenges are typically not complex, and may require analysis to understand and resolve
* Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within team
* May delegate tasks within a team or be responsible for review of work

** REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPEREINCE*** ## High school diploma or equivalent* ## 7+ years of experience* ## Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills* ##

Experience with quality control processes and procedures* ## Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and probe qualification on CMM equipment* ## Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications* ## Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* ## Ability to work independently and as part of a team* ## Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management system
