ATL is seeking Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Pavement Technicians to perform sampling, testing, and inspection of asphalt materials used in roadway and infrastructure projects throughout New York State. • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Basic math and good communication skills
• Possession of a valid New York State driver’s license
• Positive attitude, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• NETTCP and/or NYSDOT DTI Certification

• Quality control monitoring of HMA placement
• Perform sampling, testing and monitoring of HMA materials
• Follow safety standards and procedures
• Prepare accurate test and inspection reports using electronic report templates
• Effectively communicate with clients and other project stakeholders
