Allied Reliability is seeking a Quality Control Sampling Technician for Pharmaceutical Production in Syracuse, NY.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Receive and verify samples and materials from various departments for transfer.
  • Maintain proper chain of custody for samples and materials transported between manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and the QC Laboratory.
  • Ensure the timely collection and delivery of samples and materials between company locations.
  • Prepare sampling materials and maintain adequate sampling supplies.
  • Clean and sanitize the sampling unit and related equipment.
  • Collect samples of raw materials and excipients for QC laboratory testing.
  • Prepare samples for shipment to contract laboratories.
  • Apply QA/QC release stickers to approved materials at various warehouse and production locations.
  • Verify finished-product samples received from Production for stability testing.
  • Place stability samples in designated storage locations and complete the required documentation.
  • Retrieve stability samples from storage areas and chambers according to established pull schedules.
  • Assist the QC Laboratory Manager and Chemistry and Microbiology Supervisors as needed.
Education And Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous sample courier experience preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience with aseptic techniques preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required due to regular travel between company facilities and the operation of company vehicles.

  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle when necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with word-processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
  • Ability to understand and follow written, verbal, diagram-based, and scheduled instructions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable and punctual with strong time-management and organization skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
