The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher in Speech Language Pathology in the areas of Voice Production/Voice Disorders. The postdoctoral researcher will play a key role in designing, implementing, and analyzing data from behavioral research studies. The postdoctoral researcher will aid in the following:

* Recruitment of participants and data collection following IRB-approved protocols for voice production research.

* Data processing.

* Acoustic analyses of voice.

* Statistical analyses.

* Write manuscripts and grants.

This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU, Local 200

United.

Qualifications

* Ph.D. completed by May 2026

* Research experience with voice production

Job Specific Qualifications

* Knowledge of voice recording/assessment tools.

* Experience with human subjects research, particularly with recording voice samples.

* Familiarity with acoustic analysis of voice.

* Prior experience with grant writing and manuscript preparation.
