Position: Territory Service Rep (Syracuse, Rome, Watertown, Liverpool, Cicero, and Camillus NY)
Location: City of Syracuse

Description

The Territory Service/Stocking Representative will service Novo BP products such as lumber, moulding, and millwork within Lowe's stores. Responsibilities include stocking replenishment orders by hand, processing credits for damaged products, performing inventory counts, managing stock levels to reduce outages, recommending new products, addressing customer concerns, and occasionally supporting product resets and training.

Salary and Incentives
  • $21.75 per hour
  • $2,000 bonus
  • Car allowance – $380 per month
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Quarterly and annual bonus potential
Essential Responsibilities
  • Travel to assigned stores within the territory on a regular, pre‑determined schedule; may also visit additional stores outside the territory.
  • Build strong relationships with store personnel, including management, red vest, MST, etc.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through focus and cycle counts, and notify customers of necessary changes.
  • Keep the company’s products well presented by cleaning, culling, placing suggested orders, preparing returns/credits, and ensuring point‑of‑purchase materials are updated.
  • Provide training to store personnel on the company’s products and services.
  • Analyze performance, product mix, market conditions, and new product opportunities; recommend changes when appropriate.
  • Facilitate store reset activities with the NHC Store Planning Team as required.
  • Participate in special events such as grand openings, contractor nights, product knowledge training, and company meetings.
  • Stock replenishment orders within 48 hours of delivery; may be required for additional stores.
  • Manage all expenses per corporate policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate high standards of conduct, professionalism, courtesy, ethics, and a "can‑do" attitude.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
  • High school diploma.
  • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Proof of current auto insurance.
  • Solid organization and time‑management skills.
  • Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Strong selling, communication, and interpersonal skills; must be fluent in English both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated courtesy, diplomacy, tact, and the ability to foster relationships based on integrity and professionalism.
Travel Requirements
  • Ability for overnight or daily travel to service stores.
  • Travel expenses are covered per the corporate travel policy.
  • Ability to drive to and from stores.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing and walking – 100%
  • Bending or twisting – up to 60%
  • Lifting 5–25 lbs. – up to 40%
  • Lifting 35–50 lbs. – up to 20%
  • Lifting 100 lbs. and over (with assistance) – up to 10%
  • Pushing/pulling wheeled equipment up to an average of 1,500 lbs. – up to 60%
