Specialist Off Field Operations

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist Off Field Operations to keep our store running smoothly behind the scenes. In this role, you'll manage off-the-floor activities including receiving, processing, and organizing merchandise; maintaining an efficient, safe stockroom; and supporting inventory accuracy through counts, transfers, and audits. You'll partner closely with sales floor and front-end teams to ensure product is ready for customers, support promotions and planograms, and assist with omni-channel fulfillment like ship-from-store and pickup orders.

Ideal candidates bring retail or warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and a passion for sports and service in a fast-paced, team-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support daily off-field operations including backroom, stock flow, and inventory tasks
• Ensure accurate product receiving, tagging, and placement to keep sales floor merchandise-ready
• Maintain organized stockroom standards, safety procedures, and equipment handling
• Use store systems to process transfers, audits, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments
• Partner with sales floor and front-end teams to support promotions, planograms, and game-day readiness
• Monitor shrink controls, compliance, and operational checklists
• Assist with online order fulfillment, shipping, and curbside/OMNI processes
• Communicate issues, trends, and improvement ideas to operations and store leadership
