Retail Cashier

Golf Galaxy seeks a detail-oriented Retail Cashier to support our technology-focused retail operations. In this role, you'll process customer transactions using modern POS and inventory systems, handle cash and electronic payments, and ensure accurate, secure drawer reconciliation. You'll provide friendly, informed service, answer product and order questions, and assist with online/omnichannel purchases. Working in a collaborative, innovative culture, you'll help capture basic customer data, follow IT-enabled loss-prevention procedures, and maintain organized, tech-ready checkout areas while growing your skills in a dynamic, software-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately using POS systems.
• Handle cash, card, and digital payments while balancing and reconciling the cash drawer.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service at checkout and on the sales floor as needed.
• Support online and omnichannel orders, including pickups and basic system lookups.
• Follow IT-enabled loss-prevention and data security procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient checkout and surrounding areas.
• Capture basic customer information accurately within store systems.
• Collaborate with team members to meet store performance and service goals.
• Report POS or system issues promptly to supervisors or IT support.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and integrity-focused culture standards.
