The Sales Lead is a part-time, on-site role based in Syracuse, NY, responsible for supporting daily store operations and driving a positive customer experience. This role includes greeting and assisting customers, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a welcoming sales floor environment. The Sales Lead helps execute sales initiatives, supports visual merchandising and inventory management, and assists with opening and closing procedures as assigned.

The role also involves coaching and guiding team members during shifts to maintain service standards and meet sales goals. The Sales Lead works collaboratively with store leadership to uphold company policies, promote brand loyalty programs, and contribute to a safe, inclusive workplace.

• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Proven Customer Service abilities focused on creating positive, inclusive experiences for diverse shoppers.
• Sales and basic Sales Management skills to support store goals, drive conversions, and promote loyalty programs.
• Experience with Training or mentoring peers to reinforce company standards and best practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed in a retail environment.
• Basic math and point-of-sale (POS) skills, with attention to accuracy in cash handling and transactions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and perform standard retail physical tasks safely.
• Previous retail or footwear experience is preferred but not required; a demonstrated interest in fashion or footwear is a plus.
