Overview

Job Requirements The ideal candidate for this Sales Engineer role, offered as a Full Time Regular position, will be responsible for actively promoting and selling high-value, integrated, bundled, and stand-alone systems and/or equipment, along with other related advanced technology solutions within the Company's product portfolio. This individual will engage closely with contractors, consultants, and customers to understand their technical requirements, provide tailored solutions, and drive business growth by effectively communicating the value and benefits of the products.

The role demands a strong technical background combined with excellent sales acumen to build and maintain long-term relationships, support project implementation, and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.

Responsibilities
  • Actively promote and sell high-value, integrated, bundled, and stand-alone systems and/or equipment within the Company’s product portfolio.
  • Engage with contractors, consultants, and customers to understand technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Drive business growth by communicating the value and benefits of products and solutions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships and support project implementation.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the sales team with a strong technical background and sales acumen.
Qualifications
  • Associates degree in business, engineering and/or other applicable technology space required.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of related work experience required; additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Preference for experience selling to the Electrical and/or Mechanical industry.
  • Knowledge of HVAC/Electrical systems, Protective Systems, A/V solutions, and systems integration is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of applicable building codes and plan and spec fundamentals is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence are essential.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM are preferred.
  • Be highly motivated and an independent thinker.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills are required.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a changing environment; ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to handle a large volume of work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
