Retail Sales Specialist; Bilingual Spanish

Position Overview

Retail Sales Specialist at Spectrum is a customer‑focused role where you promote and sell Spectrum’s internet, TV, mobile, and voice products to existing and new customers. The role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment‑based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Enhance the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
• Identify sales opportunities and create ideal customer experiences through product support and education.
• Build positive customer relationships, actively listen, overcome objections, and resell products.
• Maintain knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions and visual standards while minimizing product losses.
• Ensure a welcoming store atmosphere, deliver a clean retail experience, communicate effectively, adhere to policy, resolve issues, and participate in training programs.

• Flexible schedule, regular attendance, and physical demands (lifting up to 35 lbs., prolonged standing).
• Adherence to Spectrum’s dress code in a moderately noisy retail environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• High comfort level with personal technology, mobile devices, video platforms, and computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks and handle change effectively.
• Familiarity with goal‑and incentive‑based work environments.
• Strong performance in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Effective communication with employees and customers in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Highly effective interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.
• Self‑motivated, competitive spirit with a desire to exceed sales goals.
• Positive and professional demeanor, strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Bilingual:
  Spanish.

• Knowledge of latest technology and devices.
• 1–5 years of sales/customer service experience.
• 1–3 years of telecommunications/wireless experience.

Base pay is between $18.00 and $24.60 per hour. Commission earnings target starts at $9,360. Additional incentives may be available.
