We are seeking a Sales Associate to drive sales growth and support the sales channel through lead generation, sales enablement and enhancing customer interactions while learning the day‑to‑day responsibilities of a sales representative.
The annual base salary range for this position, based out of Syracuse, NY, is $45,000-$55,000. This position also offers an incentive program. The actual salary offered will vary based on applicant’s relevant skills, education, experience, certifications and geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
What you’ll be doing :- Identify and qualify leads by researching potential customers, confirming key decision‑makers and making introductory calls.
- Manage inbound leads, respond to inquiries and route high‑priority prospects to the appropriate sales representatives.
- Maintain accurate customer data and sales activity records in the CRM system.
- Keep the sales team organized with timely updates on deal progress, follow‑ups, and renewal opportunities.
- Prepare pricing quotes, proposals and contracts based on sales team needs.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance and operations teams to ensure documentation is accurate and timely.
- Respond to basic customer questions about CXtec’s IT asset lifecycle solutions, product availability and service offerings.
- Support sales representatives with research on target accounts, industry trends and competitive insights.
- Associate degree. In lieu of degree must have at least two years of sales experience in a quota bearing position and/or appointment setting experience.
- A positive, passionate and creative mindset.
- Must be coachable and be able to apply new concepts quickly.
- An engaging communicator with strong phone, time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage IT professionals, including CEOs, VPs, and Directors and ask thought‑provoking questions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- Demonstrate persistence and resilience.
