Sales & Service Intern

Legends is looking for a qualified sales intern to assist our Premium, Ticket Sales, and Development team in various stages of the sales funnel, including creating awareness of new offerings, generating leads, and retaining customers. The ideal intern will be a great fit for our energetic and creative team. You’ll gain hands-on experience working on challenging, meaningful projects with guidance from a mentor and other members of our team.

• Research and generate lists of potential customers
• Provide input on customer briefs, presentations, and sales literature
• Help develop client relationships and retain existing accounts
• Learn and apply sales techniques
• Maintain sales records
• Assist in execution of sales and customer service
• Gameday responsibilities for Football & Basketball
• Other duties as assigned by the sales team

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Sports Management, Management, Sales, Advertising, Sports Marketing, Marketing or Business major
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Available to work weekends and during student breaks
• Experience with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel preferred

• Work on increasingly challenging and engaging real-world projects
• Gain hands-on experience in each stage of the sales funnel
• Collaborate with experienced sales professionals across multiple departments
• Connect with other Legends employees across professional and collegiate properties for future opportunities
• Attend meetings, events, and other networking opportunities
• Be involved in sales trainings provided by Legends and Syracuse team
• Commission available
