Surveillance Security Officer

Garda World Security Services is recruiting a Surveillance Security Officer. The role requires a sharp eye and strong observation skills to monitor security systems, document events, and respond swiftly to potential threats.

• Competitive hourly wage of $19.73 / hour
• Overnight schedule, 10pm-6am

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• New York State Security License
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent focus abilities
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is a plus
