** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a retail location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Maintain a visible armed presence in assigned areas while following all post orders, use-of-force guidelines, and applicable laws related to the assignment.

+ Monitor access points, assist with de-escalation when appropriate, and communicate with local management and/or public emergency responders during security-related events.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
