** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor public areas and/or restricted locations for unusual behavior, policy violations, maintenance issues, and other conditions that may require reporting or follow-up.

+ Support crowd management, directional assistance, and orderly movement of people during daily operations, public gatherings, and/or special events as assigned.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Security-related experience of at least 6 months is required.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
