As a Security Officer New York Licensed Mobile Driver in Syracuse, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and healthcare facility policies.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control procedures, and directions throughout the healthcare location.
Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to supervisors and facility personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
