Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment within planned time tolerances to maximize safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.;
Perform FAI/CVI (Annual) inspections on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, light-duty vehicles, and any other company-owned equipment in accordance with legal/regulatory guidelines.;
Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, lift-gates, light-duty vehicles, and other equipment.;
Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications including engines, transmissions, drive-line, steering and suspension, fuel and ignition systems, exhaust and HVAC systems, and lift-gate systems.;
Document all work performed on work orders and adhere to Sysco computer programs; perform electrical testing and welding as needed.
