Industrial Electrician - 3rd shift - Quarterly Eligible

Industrial Electrician

Anoplate is seeking an Industrial Electrician to perform repairs and maintains electrical and electronic equipment, industrial controls and mechanical equipment in production setting by performing the following duties. The objective is to support and maintain smooth production operations, safety for all personnel and protection of the environment.

In this role you will:

• Perform preventative maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of DC power supplies for plating processes.
• Calibrate and certify volt and amp gauges for plating rectifiers.
• Preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair non-current technology logic panels including hard relays, timers, and counters.
• Have basic knowledge of mechanical seals, pumps, air compressors, and pneumatic hydraulic knowledge.
• Could potentially handle hazardous waste in containerizing, transporting, testing, or other assigned duties.
• Any other tasks as required.

Education:

High School diploma or GED

Experience desired: 3-5 years electrical experience

Planning & organization skills:
Able to prioritize and assign work to meet demands

Basic computer skills:
Data entry and retrieval

Reading skills:
Interpret work instructions and production control

Your skills, knowledge & abilities:

• Knowledge of maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facility electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints.
• Ability to lay out electrical and plumbing jobs and develop required material lists.
• Ability to drive tow motor
• Ability to operate and work from ladders and manlifts.
• Ability to maintain safe, neat and orderly work and storage areas and exhibit safe, neat, clean work habits.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, management team members, and other individuals in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, and other individuals.
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to comprehend both verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to give simple verbal and written instructions to others
• Ability to interact effectively with co-workers
• Ability to prepare simple written reports
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Pre-employment drug testing and background screening required
