As a Service Technician, you’ll play an essential role in creating a safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained community for our residents. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your work, make an impact through quality repairs, and partner with your team to deliver an exceptional living experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical aspects of the community while providing timely, professional service to our residents. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and completing service requests involving HVAC, general appliance repair, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other maintenance needs.
- Maintaining interior and exterior areas of the property while ensuring company standards, safety guidelines, compliance requirements, and applicable laws are consistently met.
- Responding promptly and efficiently to maintenance tickets while prioritizing resident needs and delivering solutions with urgency and care.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with residents and office staff, building trust through respectful interactions and dependable follow-through.
- Taking initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and proactively addressing maintenance needs before they become larger issues.
- Working collaboratively with the property team to create a positive environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and included.
- Approaching challenges with accountability and resourcefulness while representing Morgan Properties with professionalism and integrity.
Incentives:
- Base Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
- Up to 50% Rent Discount
- Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
- On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone
- Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits

- Generous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leave
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Paid rotating on-call participation required
- Must be available and prepared to respond during emergency events
- Schedule subject to change based on business needs
- Active, valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred
- One year of related maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- A commitment to providing excellent service and creating positive experiences for residents and team members
- A willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership of your role within a fast‑paced maintenance environment

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
