DIESEL MECHANIC JOB – SYRACUSE, NY
If you are a diesel mechanic who knows your way around trucks and hydraulics, this could be a solid fit. This is a steady shop where your skills are respected, hours are consistent, and overtime is always there if you want it. What You Will Do- Repair & maintain diesel trucks/heavy duty fleet vehicles
- Work on trash trucks, roll off trucks, and flatbeds
- Diagnose problems using tools and equipment
- Fix brakes, engines, steering, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Perform routine PMs & inspections
- Keep simple service records
- At least 1 to 2+ years’ Diesel mechanic experience on medium or heavy trucks
- Hydraulic system experience required
- Own your own tools. Have reliable transportation to get to and from the shop(s)
- Monday to Friday (Shift hours may be flexible)
- First and Second shifts available (shifts generally start anywhere from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m., ending at 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. – depending on employee preference and company needs)
- 40 hours guaranteed, with Overtime almost always available!
- Paid Weekly
- Pay $30 to $35 per hour based on experience PLUS many bonuses
