Entry-Level Mining Operator (Haul Truck) job at Turner Mining Group. Syracuse, NY.
We're hiring Entry-Level Mining Operators for a well-established aggregates operation. If you're looking to break into the mining or heavy equipment industry, this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and build a long-term career.
What You ll Do:- Operate a haul truck to transport material from the quarry to designated yard areas
- Follow all safety procedures and site regulations
- Perform basic equipment checks and report any issues
- Work closely with the production team to keep operations running smoothly
- Entry-level candidates welcome - no mining experience required
- Experience operating equipment (even informal or transferable) is a plus
- Previous experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing, construction, or similar environments preferred
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation to the job site
