Electrical Worker

USA Government Jobs -  - Responsibilities:
Assist journeymen in a wide variety of electrical work, including troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electrical equipment;
Engage in joint operations with journey level workers to replace motors, switches, receptacles, circuit breakers, light fixtures, bulbs, and emergency lights;
Assist in the install and maintenance of secondary distribution systems up to 240 volts for indoor and outdoor lighting and equipment including panel boards, switches, circuit breakers, conduit, wiring and fixtures in accordance with the National Electrical Code, Federal Regulations, State and Local codes and other applicable standards;
Supply, lift and hold materials and tools for journey level workers;
Use wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to accomplish jobs with supervisor reference;
Use hand and powered tools to perform tasks such as cutting holes in walls and floors and cutting threads on piping;
At times assist in operations shop, grounds cleanup, snow removal, and as a laborer on projects
