Salt City Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Plumber/Pipefitter for the Syracuse area.
Job Description- Inspecting and repairing pipes running to related equipment, such as radiators and HVAC units
- Inspect, troubleshoot, isolate problems, and repair instruments and control systems for heating, cooling, air, water, and wastewater systems.
- Install, maintain, and repairs high and low-pressure steam and hot water systems, heating and air conditioning systems, oil and fuel piping, pneumatic, and valve repair.
- Installs and maintains refrigeration and air conditioning systems including compressors, pumps, meters, pneumatic and hydraulic controls, and piping.
- Making recommendations about necessary repairs or changes to plumbing systems
- Experience in commercial environment with plumbing and HVAC
- Strong understanding of pipe fitting, plumbing, and welding techniques
- Welding (MiG, TiG, SMAW, GMAW, Orbital)
- Valve installation and repair
- Relevant licensing and safety training
- Willing to travel within New York State
