Installation Technician, General Labor, Building Maintenance, Construction Labor & Trades
LaFace Flooring LLC is seeking an experienced Terrazzo Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, finishing, and repairing terrazzo flooring in commercial and municipal buildings.
- Prepare floors and substrates for terrazzo installation
- Mix, pour, spread, and level terrazzo materials
- Install divider strips, control joints, and decorative patterns
- Operate grinders, polishers, saws, and other flooring equipment
- Grind, polish, seal, and finish terrazzo surfaces
- Repair cracks, chips, and damaged terrazzo
- Read plans, specifications, and layout drawings
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow OSHA requirements and company safety procedures
- Work effectively with supervisors, project managers, and other trades
- Travel to project locations as required
Qualifications:
- Terrazzo installation experience preferred
- Commercial flooring or concrete-finishing experience is beneficial
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Experience using terrazzo grinders and polishing equipment
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime or weekends when project schedules require it
Pay Rate Range: $30.00 - $35.00 Depending on Experience
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Weekly pay
- Benefits may be available based on eligibility
- Opportunities for overtime and advancement
- Prevailing-wage rates apply to qualifying municipal projects
