Salary Range: $19.00 To $23.00 Hourly

Some or all of the following duties may apply, based on your technical level.

(Quality Control (QC)/Apprentice Technician - someone with little or no experience working toward a masters position. Master Technician - experienced in all aspects of electronics. See page 3 of this description for Technician Classifications.)

Determines the status of each unit for proper billing, and ensures warranty information is accurate and complete.

Diagnose and repair units in accordance with standard company procedures.

Performs clerical duties as they relate to the repairs, for example, updating the status of repairs in the computer, making estimates and entering them in the computer, etc.

Complete all necessary paperwork and invoicing at time repairs are completed.

Perform job-sharing duties as determined by the needs of the division.

Comply with company policies and procedures, and quality systems.

Performs related duties as requested.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Level of experience is determined by position being considered for: QC/Apprentice Technician - someone with little or no electronics experience/training working toward a master position. Master Technician - experienced in all aspects of electronics.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to co-workers.

A Master Technician must have working knowledge of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and be able to read manufacturers schematics. Must use proper soldering and desoldering techniques and be familiar with the proper use and care of test equipment.
