1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Onondaga Hill, NY (MD-ZO)
A 26-year-old male in the Onondaga Hill area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist him with being active in his community, work on his independent living skills and help him with his socialization while in the community. He enjoys spending his time going out to eat, bike riding, swimming, shopping, walking at the mall, jumping on the trampoline and spending time with family.

The ideal candidate should be active and engaging, and willing to travel to different locations. The ideal candidate should be active in participating in local events and activities.

This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services.at the agency.

Tuesday and Saturday 11am to 3pmStarting pay is $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.

Onondaga Hill, NY

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old.

Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community.

Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills

No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred.

New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.

Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.

Must have a valid drivers license

Effective communication and organizational skills required.

Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.

Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.

Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.

Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
