Job
-MH (Self-Direction DSP – Syracuse, NY Area)
- Assist with developing social skills and teaching safety skills.
- Support independent living skills.
- Encourage participation in new activities.
- Provide home visits and community engagement as required.
Hours:
Variable, approximately 12.5 hours per week.
- Valid driver's license.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule.
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
- Prior experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and adherence to the agency's technology policy.
- Reliable, patient, enthusiastic, and able to work independently.
Background checks, fingerprinting, and DMV record checks will be completed prior to hire through the agency.
