A technical foundation in RDBMS with PL/SQL knowledge, Java, Unix/Linux and Python will be considered a strong advantage.

• Learn and adapt quickly to new tools, technologies and processes used within Wealth Management Compensation area.
• Support the team in software development, database programming, batch monitoring/on call support and technical problem-solving.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, mentors, and cross‑functional teams.
• Participate in requirements gathering, coding, testing, debugging and deployment activities.
• Document and maintain project‑related information as needed.
• Maintain a professional and positive approach in all team interactions.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with an on–site presence 2-3 days per week combining flexibility with team collaboration.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short‑term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of RDBMS, UNIX/LINUX, PL/SQL, Java, and Python.

Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery.

Application Design, Architecture: Knowledge of basic activities and deliverables of application design; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.

Documentation Architecture and Design: Knowledge of documentation architecture and design; ability to build efficient processes, use appropriate tools and technique, and create complete documentation portfolios for software or technology products.

Software Development: Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.

System and Technology Integration: Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases and technology platforms.

Technical Writing/Documentation: Knowledge of technical writing; ability to write technical documents such as manuals, reports, guidelines or documents on standards, processes and applications.
