Founded in 1914, Bellevue Country Club was designed by Donald Ross and is a premier 18-hole private club located in Syracuse, New York. The membership enjoys 24,000 rounds annually with a vibrant golf calendar featuring competitive tournaments, instructional programming, junior development, and engaging social events throughout the season.

This role is integral to all aspects of golf operations, including tournament administration, merchandising, instructional programming, junior golf leadership, outside operations supervision, and daily member engagement. Golf Professionals will also have access to industry-leading technology, including launch monitor systems and major-brand club fitting platforms.
The position is seasonal (April-October) with scheduling flexibility and potential winter job placement opportunities.
Experience Required- PGA of America Associate (Level 1 or higher) or LPGA equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years Assistant Golf Professional experience at a private or high-volume facility
- Experience with Golf Genius Tournament Software
- Staff scheduling and team leadership experience
- Junior golf instruction and PGA Junior League involvement preferred
Tournament & Golf Operations
- Administer and execute all tournaments and weekly golf events using Golf Genius
- Assist with planning, promotion, course setup, scoring, prize distribution, and follow-up billing
- Monitor pace of play and overall golf course flow
- Support daily opening/closing procedures and tee sheet management
- Provide private lessons, clinics, and junior instruction
- Assist with Men's, Women's, and Junior golf programming
- Play golf with members and guests in both competitive and social settings
- Deliver exceptional hospitality and professional service at all times
- Assist with merchandising, inventory control, pricing, and special orders
- Support club repair and professional club fitting services
- Maintain accurate administration of the USGA Handicap System
- Help supervise outside operations staff and daily practice facility operations
- Assist with golf car fleet management and bag storage services
- Participate in scheduling, recordkeeping, and HR-aligned staff administration
- Coordinate golf activities with other club departments
- Contribute to annual planning and budgeting for golf operations
