Driver NON CDL Local No Weekends

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a non-CDL truck driver in Syracuse, NY, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a rewarding driving career.

• Weekly Pay: $950-$1150
• Hours:
  
  40+ hours per week
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.40 per mile
• Solo Stops Pay: $12.00 per stop
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, no weekends
• Start Time: 6:00 – 7:00 AM

• Deliver SOLO to 120 mile radius of Syracuse
• Route:
  Local Home Daily
• Truck Type:
  Box Truck – 16', 22', 26'
• Equipment:
  Pallet Jack, Lift Gate, Hand Truck
• Freight:
  Touch – Auto Parts
• Ryder will train you on all necessary equipment

• Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days
• 80 hours PTO first year, starting day 1

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum 6 months verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Valid driver's license
• Background check, DOT physical, Ryder road test
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions and interpret laws, rules, regulations

• Safely drive a vehicle within assigned routes while complying with safety regulations
• Maintain compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules and standards
• Detect and mitigate safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records; load/unload freight as required
• Provide excellent customer service
• Other tasks as assigned
