Sanico is a leading wholesale distributor of janitorial supplies & professional cleaning equipment servicing Upstate New York and Northeast Pennsylvania. Our goal is simple-- find solutions for our customers. We are looking for a driving and delivery pro to join our growing Sanico team as a non-CDL Truck Driver. The position is based out of Sanico’s branch location in Syracuse.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The driver plays a key role in Sanico’s distribution chain and the final customer touchpoint in the order cycle. They make sure the right box gets to the right customer at the right time, and will do so in a courteous and professional manner.
Professional delivery service is integral to Sanico’s business model of added value for our customers.
Reporting to the Syracuse Branch Manager, the Driver will deliver orders to Sanico customers using a 16 or 20-foot box truck on a daily basis.
Working collaboratively with Sanico warehouse staff, they will assure accuracy during the truck loading process. The driver is expected to be involved in the loading of their truck.

Job qualifications:
- Active, clean driver’s license required
- DOT Medical card required
- Straight truck driving experience
required - Can operate a smart-phone app used to collect customer signature at delivery.
- Physical job requirements include:
- independent manual lifting of freight up to 60 lbs.
- frequent climbing into/out of the delivery truck
- ability to maneuver up and downstairs, ramps, etc. at delivery locations
- exposure to weather conditions as the season dictates

Hours:
(hours may vary based on number of stops along routes, weather, etc.)
Wage Range: $17-$22/HR Based on experience New driver hires are subject to background check and MVR (drivers license) check.#J-18808-Ljbffr
