Job Title: CDL-A Truck Driver Local

Location: Syracuse, NY Service Center

Employment Type: Full‑Time, Monday - Friday, Various Shifts

Compensation: Starting at $33.75 per hour

Paid Time Off (PTO): Available and may be used immediately upon hire.

A City P&D Driver is responsible for city delivery and pickup of freight, returning to the terminal each day. This includes multiple stops per working day, use of scanning equipment, direct customer interaction, and potential liftgate deliveries with an electric pallet jack.

• CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record/MVR with no commercial serious violations and no more than three moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Age 23 (or 21 if successfully meeting FMCSA transition from military to civilian CDL).
• Ability to operate equipment safely at all times.
• Pass a pre‑employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Pass a successful road test.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and reliable.

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz‑mat CDL endorsements.
• Experience hauling Haz‑mat.
• Local delivery experience.
• LTL experience.
• Experience with electric pallet jack.
