Location: City of Syracuse
Role: CDL Class A Driver responsible for delivering and transporting wood components to construction sites, primarily handling oversized loads and ensuring timely, safe deliveries.
Key Responsibilities- Drive oversized loads and deliver trusses to various job sites, including off-road locations.
- Load, strap, and secure loads; operate foot and hand controls.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and adhere to safety protocols.
- Perform occasional physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, lifting up to 100 pounds, and securing loads.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- CDL Class A License with a minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean and safe driving record.
- Ability to commute to Whitesboro, NY, and willingness to relocate if necessary.
Full-time position with $25-$28/hour, overtime, safe driving bonus, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
Additional DetailsHome daily, occasional Saturday work, and physical requirements may include prolonged extension, reaching, and load handling.
