Warehouse Operations OverviewThe Associate II, Warehouse Ops assists with inbound and outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor, meeting quality, safety, productivity and operational standards. The role receives products in the inbound section and ships products in the outbound section.
Shift/Schedule40 hours weekly – 1st Shift / Day Shift. Tuesday – Saturday 7:00am – 3:30pm. Must work until tasks are completed and be flexible to work other hours or days if needed.
Responsibilities- Unload trucks in the inbound section using a pallet jack or equivalent devices.
- Check in products with the Warehouse Management System.
- Follow regulations when handling specialty or refrigerated products.
- Store products in warehouse locations, using order picker or other devices.
- Picks products from warehouse locations and loads them into outbound trucks.
- Ensure efficient flow of products from vendor receipt to shipment to internal and external customers.
- 1–2 years of experience (preferred).
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
- Ability to bend, reach, lift and stand for the entire shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working with heights of 20–30ft regularly.
- Apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.
- Readily learn and apply new information and methods in the assigned area.
- Maintain appropriate licenses, training and certifications.
- Work on routine assignments that require some problem resolution.
- Follow clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods.
- Adhere to all quality guidelines.
- Work under moderate supervision.
- Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor.
- Refer complex or unusual problems to supervisor.
