Construction Foreman (Natural Gas Experience Required)

Sorensen Companies, Inc. is looking for a Construction Foreman to join our construction team in Syracuse, UT. The position will be based in Clark County.

Our operating unit provides underground utility services and we are looking for a Construction Foreman to join our team. This position requires organization, timeliness, accuracy and great focus to detail and safety.

• Must be able to perform physical labor.
• Manage a crew of up to 6 employees.
• Survey job site for Blue stakes, sprinklers, other obstacles, etc. before digging.
• Understand and can read prints.
• Working as a team to complete tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Natural Gas Experience Required.
• Experience with Gas Mains and replacements.
• Experience on a Mini Excavator.
• Great decision making ability.
• Valid Driver License with a clean driving record.
• DOT Medical card will be required before eligible to drive a company vehicle.
• Must have great communication skills.
• A positive can-do attitude and openness to trying things new ways.

• Class A CDL is a plus.
• Hardworking, honest, dependable, some knowledge of construction would be helpful but not necessary.
